The Hospitals of Providence is chasing the horizon with its latest land acquisition in Far East El Paso.
The health care group on Friday announced that Tenet Healthcare, the corporation that owns The Hospitals of Providence, acquired 30 acres of land at 12951 Eastlake Boulevard, near quickly growing Horizon City.

The Hospitals of Providence officials on Friday formally announced the $15 million acquisition of 30 acres of vacant land at Eastlake and Peyton Drive, surrounded by new commercial and residential development in the huge Mission Ridge master-planned community near Horizon City.

Fifteen people – everyone from the FBI special agent in charge and CEO of one of El Paso’s largest community banks to the commanding general of Fort Bliss and head of the electric company – responded.
